October 03 September 2009In early September Papa Jim and MaMaw Pat came to spend a long weekend with us. We went to Missouri Botanical Gardens, watched the boys play soccer and Ross and I ran the Lewis and Clark 1/2 marathon. We thank God for our parents. August 2009The boys attended their very first Cardinal baseball game this summer. Ian won tickets from the library reading program. We had to take their photo with Stan "the Man". We started school early this year and we are all enjoying what we are learning...even mommy. The babies had a great 2nd birthday. We had a party for them and were so blessed by our friends and family. July 2009We spent July 4th in Peoria with the extended Smith family. We all love the pool at Papa Jim and MaMaw Pat's house. Alaina is our sweet, precious, little girl. We are very thankful for her. The kids love to read and I love that they are home with me and together all the time. June 2009June was a fun filled month for our family....as most are!!! The babies are growing and very active. The warm weather provided for lots of water fun. Ross and I spent a date night with the Cardinals. We ran the Race for the Cure. The family obtained a new basketball hoop thanks to daddy's hard work. I attended my family's mother/daughter sisters trip. We are having lots of fun with our kiddos.
May 12 FloridaRoss and I had the opportunity to travel to Sand Key, Florida for a long weekend away together. We had a wonderful time. The hotel was very nice with great guest service. Our hotel overlooked the bay and we were within sight and walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed our time together celebrating 10 years of marriage. It also happened to be Mother's Day. How lucky am I? My parents took wonderful care of the children while we were gone and survived. We are thankful for all the hard work they were willing to take on caring for four little ones. |
